SBIF Asha Scholarship Program for Overseas Education 2024-25: A very ambitious scheme is being operated by the State Bank of India Foundation for students receiving foreign education. Under this SBIF Asha Scholarship Program 2024-25 scheme, State Bank of India is providing a chance to study abroad to the meritorious and talented students of India so that all these students can give their lives a great direction and can make themselves financially successful and empowered along with the country. SBIF Asha Scholarship Program is an important program launched by the State Bank of India Foundation through which the State Bank of India Foundation is providing financial assistance to meritorious students of low -income families under the Integrated Teacher Mission.

Under this SBIF Asha Scholarship Program 2024-25 scheme, students of Scheduled Caste/ Tribe who want to complete the courses in university or college outside India provide financial assistance of up to Rs 20 lakh to them.

SBIF Overseas Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

• Only Indian students are included in this foreign scholarship scheme launched by the State Bank of India.
• The benefit of this scholarship is given only to students who belong to Scheduled Castes or Tribes.
• Students who have scored 75 percent or more marks in the previous academic year are given this scholarship.
• However, while providing scholarship, other eligibility parameters and performance are also seen.
• The benefit of this scholarship is given to such students whose family annual income is up to ₹ 600000 but less than 3 lakh income is given priority for scholarship.
• At the same time, the same students are included in the scholarship who have applied for a post graduate or above courses in the university outside India and have received the consent letters.

Scholarship Program SBIF Foreign Education 2024-25 Important Dates

SBIF Asha Scholarship Program 2024-25 Selection Process

• Under the SBIF Asha Scholarship Program 2024-25 for SBI Foreign Education, students will be selected on the basis of their educational qualification, financial background and previous year marks.
• In the scholarship, more than 75% marks in the last academic year and students with less than ₹ 300000 are given priority.
• However, this is a multi -conduct process in which a preliminary list is prepared based on students’ applications.
• The selected candidates in the preliminary list are discretionary after which the final list is prepared and after the document verification, students are awarded scholarships.
